According to SpboScore, Liverpool have identified Michael Olise and Marc Guéhi as priority transfer targets as the club looks to strengthen for the future.
Guéhi: Liverpool Confident Despite Competition
Sources close to the agency world revealed that Liverpool remain confident of winning the race for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi next summer. Palace blocked his exit in the most recent transfer window, but with his contract expiring next year, an exit appears increasingly likely.
Although Real Madrid have been linked with Guéhi, and other clubs are expected to join the chase, Liverpool are not concerned. One source insisted that after agreeing personal terms with the player during the summer, the Reds still feel “confident” they are in pole position. SpboScore could not verify Madrid’s supposed interest, with Liverpool dismissing such speculation as “rumours.”
Olise: Salah’s Heir Apparent?
Beyond Guéhi, Liverpool are also considering a move for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, who is viewed internally as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. The France international is believed to be valued at around £87 million, though some insiders suggest the fee could be negotiated down.
Olise, who has previously expressed a desire to return to the Premier League, is expected to attract widespread interest should he decide to move back to England. One source told SpboScore:
“Olise is Liverpool’s top target. Many at the club see him as Salah’s successor.”
Bayern, however, are reluctant to lose such a key player. Yet with the arrival of Luis Díaz and other attacking reinforcements, they now have considerable depth in wide areas, potentially softening the blow if Olise were to depart.
